Wow, I honestly cannot believe we're already in November, where did the month of October go? I love November because this is the time where my family loves to cook or bake new dishes. Thanksgiving, of course, is filled with good food, drinks, and family. It's a time where we can gather with friends or family you haven't seen in a while. It's also a time where, in my case, I start planning for Christmas. I know it's a little early for that, but please know December will be full of FUN on my blog page.
I know this year has affected us all in many different ways and we are ready to say goodbye. Although many things have discouraged me throughout the year, I plan to end it the best way I can. There are many positive things that will be happening in my life over the next two months and I plan to ENJOY every second.
HOW I PLAN TO TACKLE THE REST OF THIS YEAR
Maintaining My Faith - I believe in God. I know God is real. I know that even though this year has been full of heartache and major growth, God is in control. I have faith that through it all HE will lead me in the right direction. I know that he has a plan for my life and I have FAITH that things will work out for my good.
Practicing Self - Care: I am ALL about this one! I am a big advocate for self-care. I believe everyone should have time to themselves. Do something for yourself to relax and not think about everything that's going on around you. Take a walk, read a book, do a mask, shop, spend time with yourself. Whatever makes you happy and decompress. DO IT.
Staying Positive - in the midst of so much negativity and uncertainty going on right now, I know this may be tough. However, keeping a positive outlook on life and your future is so important. Truly believing that better days are ahead and that you are deserving of happiness.
Showing Gratitude - What are you grateful for? This can be something you do daily. Write out 5 to 10 things that you were grateful for during that day. This will keep your spirits positive, because, we all have something to be grateful for. Show gratitude towards those you love. Say thank you, tell someone you love them, show up for someone you haven't seen in a while.
Dedication - I put together a list of goals for myself before this year started. Although many things got in my way, and some things took longer than anticipated, I am dedicated to making these things happen. I refuse to stop now, so of course, I have to keep going. Stay dedicated to all the goals that you wanted to accomplish this year because it's not over just yet. KEEP GOING!
UNPLUG - After you read this blog post, of course, take some time off your electronic devices. I cannot stress enough the importance of being able to be away from the world. Take some time away from your phone, social media, and be present. I struggle with this a lot because it's my job to constantly be on my phone. However, I had to set boundaries for myself. Being on social media, can be very stressful and draining, so step away.
These are the tips I suggest to you, as I am actively working on these things as well. I plan to end this year on a strong & positive note. I hope you all found this blog post helpful, and have some takeaways. I pray for positivity, happiness, and health to you all.
Also, the Holidays are approaching and this is the best time to let loose and enjoy those you love. I know this holiday season may look very different this year but there are still many ways to enjoy this time. You are such an inspiration and I’m going to apply your plan for my life. With everything taking place in 2020 maintaining our faith is essential. There are moments of uncertainty that appear from time to time in our lives, and it’s imperative during these times when we must look back at all the times God was faithful to us and stand firm on our faith. Love you 🥰
